“Your Pax venue does not have an available TID for this pinpad. The pinpad will not be able to approve credit transactions. Please Contact Support.”
Follow directions below to correct TID Error or escalate to VAST
TID Error A77s
1. Open Appetize
2. Use the gear icon and Clear Cache (even if none are present)
3. Tap the square icon on the bottom-left of the screen
4. Swipe the app either left or right to kill the app
5. Press and hold the power button on the right side of the device
6. "Power Off" (not restart)
7. Wait a minute, then power back on
8. Open the app and try logging in
9. Escalate to VAST
TID Error E700s
1. Open Appetize
2. Use the gear icon and Clear Cache (even if none are present)
3. Tap the square icon on the bottom-left of the screen
4. Swipe the app either left or right to kill the app
5. Press and hold the power button on the right side of the device
6. "Power Off" (not restart)
7. Wait a minute, then power back on
8. Open the app and try logging in
If the TID error is still present, open the "PDM" app and tap the link symbol circled on the attached screenshot to refresh EMV link.
If the link is GREEN, repeat steps 1 through 8 and escalate to VAST
If the link is RED, RMA the device
